Head Chef/Sous Chef
Bebemos is a South American influenced restaurant and neighbourhood craft beer bar in the heart of vibrant Newtown.
We are looking for a Head Chef, or Sous Chef ready to take the leap, who wants to head our small kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a busy cafe or restaurant
- Be enthusiastic, responsible and reliable
- Excellent communication skills, and experience with current employment law
- Menu planning, costings, and a passion for food with the ability to create new and innovative dishes
- Experience in rostering and meeting wage targets
- The desire to create a Latin fusion menu using fresh, local produce.
We are experienced operators with a handful of existing bars and restaurants, and offer competitive renumeration packages depending on skill and experience level.
