Restaurant Manager Wanted
Since 2005, Mexicali Fresh has been serving up the best California inspired Mexican in New Zealand. We have more than 17 restaurants (and counting!) across New Zealand.

We are currently looking for a passionate, driven and energetic Restaurant Manager at our Lincoln Road store to join our family and join in the path of success we are carving with our restaurants.
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MEXICALI FRESH RESTAURANT MANAGER
Our restaurant managers are passionate, vibrant, professional team players. They understand what it means to be a part of a team and how to build them. They must be able to handle a bit of stress and the juggling of multiple moving parts in our busy restaurants.
A short list of the Restaurant Manager’s roles and responsibilities include:
· Sole and full accountability for the daily operation of the restaurant
· Management of budgets and KPIs
· Maintaining cost controls for food and labour costs
o This will include stock and cash control
· Recruitment and training of an elite team
· Developing and executing marketing plans
Previous experience in a similar role is required. The suitable candidate must be comfortable with budgeting and KPIs, hiring processes and sole charge of a hospitality business with minimal guidance.
While training will be provided to the right candidate, business and/or restaurant tertiary education, as well as a current Food Safety, LCQ, and General Manager’s certificate is extremely advantageous.
