How do I post on MyChatta

Login to your account and go to the MyChatta page
Select the forum “Your notices”
Select the blue “New Thread” button
Title your notice and write a description in the message (use bold etc if you want, its similar to using word)
Then, under the little icons select the submit new thread button.

How do I apply for jobs on Hospotrade?

To apply for any job you need to be a registered member of Hospotrade (which is free).  To see advertisers details you need to be logged in to your account. 
Login to your account and go to the Hospitality Jobs page.  Find the job you like and apply directly to the advertiser - they will provide either a phone, email or postal contact.

I'm listing a job, but I keep getting FALSE FALSE and some crazy letters

• This can happen when cutting and pasting from another website or document.  To prevent this you need to paste your description into the clipboard with the yellow T (see image below). 
• In the "name" bar, DO NOT cut and paste, type the name into this box.

How do I get the latest job listings?

The Hospitality Jobs page features the latest job listings already.  Each category of jobs (eg Chefs Jobs) can be sorted by date.  Simply click the 'By date added' link and it will sort by latest jobs (with little arrow pointing down) and oldest jobs (little arrow pointing up)

How do I list a job ad

To post a job ad, login to your account and go to Hospitality Jobs
Then select the green "List a job" button.
Fill in all the details, making sure you select “Hospitality Jobs Vacant” and under Categories, select the category of job you would want to find.  Write a wee description, but don't include your contact details here.
Enter the security letters at the bottom and select save changes.

How do I post my resume?

To post a CV, login to your account and go to Hospitality Jobs
Then select the green "List a job" button.
Fill in all the details, making sure you select “Hospitality Jobs Wanted” and under Categories, select the category of job you would want to find.  Write a wee description and at the bottom you can attach your CV.
CV's are to be no more than 200kb and either a doc, txt, pdf or rtf file.
Enter the security letters at the bottom and select save changes.

I've filled my job position, how do I delete my ad?

There are two options here.  In both cases:
Login to your account using your email address and password Go to the Hospitality Jobs page Click on the Green Button that says “My jobs” and Select Edit

Option 1 - Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the red “delete job” button.
Option 2 - Scroll to the bottom of the screen and amend the end date of the ad in the wee calendar.

How do I find a job/for sale item in a particular region?

Firstly go to the tab you wish to search in - either For Sale or Hospitality Jobs
You will see a white dropdown box that says New Zealand, change this to the region you wish to search in.
Select 'search' from the left hand side.
Note: if you select the main tab again your search will be reset.

Can I list my hospitality business for sale?

Yes you can.  Here's how to do it:
Login to your account and go to the For Sale section
Select the green "Write an Ad" button.
Name the ad and under the categories scroll bar - select "Businesses for sale"
Fill in the description and pictures etc.  Enter your contact details or select the grey "use my contact details" button.  Enter the security letters at the bottom and select save changes

Can I list my business on the Trade Directory?

You certainly can.  Simply login to your account, and go to the Trade Directory page.  From there just select 'place a listing'.  Contact us about upgrades to Trade Directory listings.

How do I get a new password?

At the login screen select 'send me a new password'. DO NOT REFRESH THE PAGE.  Simply select another page (eg Home).  You will receive an email with your new password.  Use this to login with and then go to your account area to change to an easy to remember password.  Don't forget the little security code down the bottom of the page!  You will receive an email confirming that you have changed your password.

How do I subscribe to the newsletter?

Just head over to the homepage and click on the blue button midway down the page.  Check the filled in fields are correct, enter the security code and click send.
