The Team @ Hospotrade

Hospotrade.co.nz is based in Hamilton, NZ and is utterly devoted to Hospitality. CEO, Robert Lagerberg founded Hospotrade after identifying a need in the industry to bring everyone and everything together in one service hub.  "I knew lots of people working in the industry and the most common thing I heard was that people found it difficult to find the things they needed without spending time on a fruitless search or spending copious amounts of money".  Robert had also spent a great deal of time wondering how he could also help people in need and realised that he could do this also through Hospotrade.co.nz.

ROBERT LAGERBERG - CEO

I left school at the age of 15 and worked in a timber mill.  Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be helping Charities or running my own website!  It took a cup of inspiration, a litre of hard word and 10 tablespoons of never say die.  I've been involved in the entertainment side of Hospitality for a long time in the area of events and electronic music.  My role at Hospotrade is everything!!
   

SHARLENE DECKE - MARKETING MANAGER

When it comes to Hospitality, I like to think of myself as an all rounder.  I travelled and lived the OE lifestyle in Europe for 2 1/2 years and learnt a lot about Hospitality while propping up the bar. But seriously, I've worked in lots of Hospitality jobs and currently own a food outlet in the Waikato.  My role at Hospotrade is to market and promote, to add that business owner flavour and support those who own Hospitality outlets and venues.
   

STACEY HANCOCK - SOCIAL MEDIA / ADMINISTRATOR

I love food.  All of it.  I've worked in hospitality for about 10 years, starting as a kitchen hand and working up to Duty and Marketing Management roles.  I'm also a qualified nutritionist...just can't seem to stay away from food in any shape or form!  At Hospotrade it's my job to make sure everyone knows everything, that's where social media (eg MyChatta) comes in.  I'm also your local friendly admin, so if you have a query or need assistance, I will most likely be the one to help.

LUTON GLEESON - SALES / KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

I have been in hospitality for 16 years starting out as a Barman and swiftly moving on to owning and operating my own hospitality businesses. I have a passion for the industry, from good quality food and wine to the perfect flat white. I believe customer service is paramount in any business and that’s where my role comes in as Sales/Key Account Manager.

 

JEMMA HARRISON - SALES/PROMOTIONS & HOSPOTV

My hospo/media background is like an eclectic cocktail. I left school at 17 to complete my bar and beverage cert. I mixed in several years studying journalism & media, muddled in a few years of waitressing & F.O.H, added a dash of bar work, and a splash of barista positions. My friends say I turned into a jaffa after 2.5 years up in the big smoke working @ head office level for a wine and spirit merchant; But now I am back in H-town and am proud to be the reporter for HospoTV and also the sales and promotions manager.
